Manufacturing Financial Manager/cost Accountant


Do you have strong financial experience in manufacturing?
Our National Client is requiring your expertise in costing to manage the Cape Town financial team and the factory financial portfolio working as a right hand to the General Manager.

Solid costing experience with personable management skills will be the essential requirement for this position. REQUIREMENTS:
Financial Accounting qualification, CIMA highly advantageous
Min 5-10 year’s exp as a top Cost & Management Accountant in a Manufacturing Company
Experience working on ERP system
Staff management experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
Sound business knowledge
Team player
Good eye for detail and accuracy
 
DUTIES:
Reporting to and working as the right hand to the General Manager
Preparing reports, budgets and financial statements, reporting into Head Office in Gauteng
Managing the full financial function of the factory and supervising the financial staff
Giving c financial staff
Cash flow forecasting
Determine resource requirements
Projected profit and loss and balance sheet
Managing financial administration process and internal audits
Provide detailed analysis of variances and investigation thereof
Manage raw materials usage
Client/Profit profitability analysis
Prepare month end reporting schedules
Reconcile key manufacturing accounts
Compiling detailed analysis and costing of wastage
Year-end preparation and budgets
 
SALARY: Negotiable dependent on experience
