Polokwane City assistant coach Bernard Molekwa says he appreciates the humanity shown by his new head coach Clinton Larsen who opted out of the bench for the league match against Maritzburg United on Sunday.
Larsen joined City at the end of last week and on the eve of the 1-0 loss at home to Maritzburg and he felt it would not be fair for him to take charge of the dugout.
Molekwa says they used some of Larsen’s tactics yesterday adding that the head coach’s presence will help the club.

Rise and Shine have found it tough in the Absa premiership this season sitting third from bottom with 13 points from 14 matches following an eight-match losing streak.
Molekwa says the results are unacceptable and worrying to everyone in the club but they will not give up.
Meanwhile, first-choice goalkeeper George Chigova returned from an injury that kept him out of the last three matches while key defender Sibusiso Mbonani remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
Molekwa adds that injuries in key departments have contributed to the side’s poor run. – Report by Lethabo Kganyago
